Years ago, I did a series of soft Origami boxes
made from wallpaper samples .....
Deena used them to store odds and ends on her headboard .....
They got so squooshed by her last Navy move
that we said goodby to them .....



Just started doing Kirigami boxes ....
  The cutting and
shhhh don't tell
taping
makes them a bit sturdier,


Hillel cut all the starter squares for me
I was doing 4 by 4 by 2 boxes
from hand painted tyvek and liquid starch soaked fabric






  Then had to resort to math 
  to make them small enough to fit sturdy mailers





The hanging butterflies took me to
marquee styled popup cards






These hearts hang from fishing line ~ 6lb
Look very fragile but are very strong





It has been fun creating art for what Deena calls Greeting Card Day
